A SOUTHAMPTON man set up a fake dating profile in his victim's name.
Wayne Thomas sent a woman abusive emails and subjected her to unwanted calls.
The 38-year-old of Ludlow Road even created a malicious dating profile with her identity.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates' Court, he was charged with harassment without violence.
He pleaded guilty to the offence which happened between August last year and March this year.
Thomas was handed a 12-month community order to include ten rehabilitation days.
He must pay a £300 fine, £85 court costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
