EMERGENCY services rushed to a village road this morning after reports that a car was on fire.
Firefighters were called to Springfield Avenue, Holbury at 4.29am this morning.
This was due to a Suzuki that was on fire on a driveway of a property.
Breathing apparatus and hose reel jets were used by firefighters from Hardley Fire Station to extinguish the blaze.
The car was put out before fire could spread to anybody nearby properties.
Police were also asked to attend the incident.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called out at 4.33am this morning (18 Sept) to assist Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service with a vehicle fire at a property in Springfield Avenue in Holbury.
"A Suzuki was on fire and Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service put the fire out and stopped it from spreading to other properties.
"Did you see anyone acting suspicious in the area at the time? Perhaps you have CCTV or door-bell footage leading up to the incident?
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting 44210374998."
