A ONCE-busy convenience store in Swaythling looks set to reopen under a different brand.

The Premier in High Road could become a One Stop, according to a planning application approved by Southampton City Council.

Submitted by One Stop Stores Limited, the plans detail the rebranding of the building, which is near the junction with Thomas Lewis Way.

Permission has been given for four externally illuminated fascia signs, three poster cases and various window vinyls.

The Premier at 54-58 High Road had been closed.

Tesco PLC is the parent organisation of both the Premier and One Stop brands.
