Winchester man order to compensate Sainsbury's security guard
A MAN who attacked a security guard in a Winchester supermarket has been ordered to compensate him.
Gary Trevor Page, 48, of Walpole Road, Stanmore, admitted assaulting Surinder Singh in Sainsbury's on June 8 and threatening behaviour against PCSO Neil Parker, a court heard.
Magistrates imposed a community order with a 26-day Resolve programme.
They ordered Page pay £50 compensation to Mr Singh.
There was no separate penalty for Page failing to comply with the requirements of an anti-social behaviour order about not returning to a locality.
