UPDATE: Both incidents have now been cleared but heavy delays remain on approach.
TRAFFIC is backing up onto motorways in Southampton with heavy delays due to a crash.
A crash has taken place on Andes Road in Nursling, blocking the road in both directions.
The incident is said to have involved lorries and happened nearby to the industrial estate.
Now there are heavy delays onto Brownhill Way.
These are also backing onto the M271 and towards Junction Three of the M27.

The slip road coming off the M271 at Junction One Northbound for Nursling has also been closed.
Southampton City Council tweeted the news at 7.39am today saying this was down to a 'police incident'.
