A DRIVER was seen fleeing the scene after a stolen vehicle was crashed in Southampton.
On Tuesday, a silver Vauxhall Vectra was stolen from outside a property on Doncaster Road, Eastleigh.
This is said to have taken place around 7am.
But then, at 7.45am that same morning, the car was then involved in a crash on Thomas Lewis Way.
The car collided with another vehicle, a black Seat Ibiza, but no injuries were reported.
The driver of the Vauxhall was then seen fleeing the scene.
Now police are appealing to the public for help with their investigation.
A police spokesperson said: "Were you in the area at the time and saw what happened? Do you have dash-cam footage of either vehicle in the lead up to the collision?
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 44210389639.
"Alternatively, you can contact independent charity, Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111."
