ROADWORKS are set to take place across Southampton next week.
Below is a list of all the works to be aware of if you're travelling in the city by road:
Brownhill Way
Work to upgrade the footpath between Colne Avenue and Brownhill Way and install a temporary crossing on Brownhill Way.
Started on September 27 and is taking place between 9:30 am and 3:30 pm each day. This is to support the main junction improvement works, which will start on October 14 for up to 28 weeks.
Portland Terrace
Closed for one night on October 7 for building maintenance. This will take place between 8pm and 6am.
Hill Lane
Two-way signals will be put in place between Bellemoor Road and Radway Road. This is for Southern Water works taking place from October 6 to October 8 between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Albert Road North
Two way signals will be in place on Elm Terrace and Chapel Road Two-way signals due to an emergency gas leak. This started on September 27 and is set to run until October 5.
Commercial Road
Multi-way signals will be in place on October 6 and 7 between 8pm and 6am for road maintenance works.
Oakley Road
Multi-way signals will be in place from Tebourba Way to Park Street. This is due to resurfacing taking place between October 6 and October 8.
Shirley Road
Highway Improvements Scheme between junctions Cawte to Malmesbury. This includes small closures of Cawte, Dyer and Malmesbury (not at the same time) and signals on Shirley Road from October 4 to November 20.
