A BUSY Hampshire road was closed last night after a car crashed into trees and bushes after careering off the highway.
The accident - thought to weather-related - happened on the A326 between Totton and Marchwood just after 5.30pm.
At least one person was freed from the vehicle by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service.
They are believed to have suffered only minor injuries in the crash, which occurred beneath a flyover that carries the A35 over the A326.
The road was closed to allow the emergency services to reach the scene and deal with the incident.

"It happened around 5.37pm on Saturday, October 2 on the A326 just under the flyover."
