Man arrested after assault on staff at Eastleigh Wetherspoons
A MAN has been arrested after an assault on a member of staff at an Eastleigh Wetherspoons.
At around 1am on Sunday, October 3, it is reported that a man was involved in an altercation with a staff member at Wagon Works on Southampton Road; resulting in the staff member suffering minor injuries.
The man was subsequently restrained by other staff members until police arrived and detained him.
A 28-year-old man from Eastleigh was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was later released on conditional bail until Sunday, October 31.
