THE sensational 60s experience returns to Southampton for one night only next month.

The brand new production for 2021 is a three hour 60’s spectacular of pure nostalgia and takes to the Mayflower stage on November 21.

Transporting audiences back to that magical decade are five legendary names from the era.

The night is set to star Mike Pender, the original voice of The Searchers. Rivalled only by their mates and neighbours The Beatles and Gerry and The Pacemakers, the band notched up six UK top ten hits with three of those reaching number one.Hits include Needles And Pins, Don’t Throw Your Love Away, Sweets For My Sweet, When You Walk In The Room.

Also on the bill are The Trems, former members of The Tremeloes. They will play music including Even The Bad Times Are Good, Do You Love Me, Call Me Number One and Silence Is Golden.

Dozy Beaky Mick & Tich, who were in the charts 50 weeks out of 52 in 1966, will perform the likes of Bend It, Zabadak and The Legend Of Xanadu.

Caroline, the signature tune for the influential pirate radio station of the same name, will be played by The Fortunes, as well as Storm In A Teacup, You’ve Got Your Troubles, Freedom Come Freedom Go.

Completing the bill are The Dakotas with hits like Little Children, The Cruel Sea and Do You Want To Know A Secret?
