A MAN has been arrested for an alleged drug offence after police spotted a suspicious vehicle.
At 12.50pm on Tuesday, officers in Fair Oak saw a suspicious vehicle on Sandy Lane.
After the vehicle was stopped a quantity of suspected Class A drugs was said to have been found.
This was seized by police as a result.
The driver, a 24-year-old man from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
But now he has now been released following further enquiries.
He has been given a conditional caution and was also ordered to pay £65 costs.
The man has also been ordered to attend a drug diversion course.
