A WOMAN in a wheelchair has been left with cuts and bruises to her face after she was assaulted by three teenage boys.

Police are appealing for information following the incident on Kendal Avenue in Millbrook, Southampton, on Monday, September 27.

At around 3pm a woman in a wheelchair was assaulted by three young teenage boys, who reportedly threw stones directly at her and were verbally abusive towards her, resulting in the victim receiving minor cuts and bruises to her face.

The victim’s wheelchair was also damaged during the incident after one of the wheels was left severely damaged.

A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We appreciate that this happened approximately 10 days ago, but were you in the area at the time? Did you see what happened? Or perhaps you have dash-cam or doorbell footage which captured the events leading up to or during the assault.
