DUE to a signalling problem between Brockenhurst and Bournemouth all railway lines are blocked.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected to continue until 9pm on October 13.
A spokesperson from South Western Railway, said: "We have been informed of a signalling problem between Brockenhurst and Bournemouth.
"This problem is affecting both points and signals, meaning that all lines between these stations are currently blocked.
"Train services from London Waterloo to Bournemouth/Weymouth may terminate at Southampton Central.
"Train services from Weymouth to London Waterloo may terminate at Bournemouth.
"You may use your SWR ticket, at no extra cost to yourself, on: "CrossCountry services between Bournemouth and Basingstoke.
"Replacement road transport is being arranged - details will appear on our website once confirmed.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.
"If you would prefer to use local buses to continue your journey, please check Traveline - South Western Railway tickets are not valid on local buses unless stated above."
An update is expected to follow within the next hour.
