Charged made after reports of man carrying offensive weapon in Southampton shopping centre
A MAN has been charged following reports of a person carrying an offensive weapon in a Southampton shopping centre.
Peter Hollingsworth, 34, of Millbrook Road East, Southampton has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place and possession of Class B drugs.
It comes after officers received a report of a man in the Marlands Shopping Centre carrying an offensive weapon, just after 7.45pm yesterday.
Hollingsworth is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 2.
