RED Funnel timetables are set to return back to normal on Monday after mechanical issues caused disruption.
Last week, the company announced that a number of services and journeys would be affected after an issue with the starboard inner jet unit of Red Jet 7.
A list of available and cancelled departures was shared with the vessel being drydocked in Hythe on Saturday to allow for an investigation and repairs.
Now though, it has been confirmed that mechanical problems have been fixed and that timetables are now set to return to normal.
A Red Funnel spokesperson told the Echo: "I’m pleased to advise that the issue with Red Funnel’s Red Jet 7 has now been rectified and she will return to service tomorrow morning as per the Monday timetable."
Specialist marine contractors and engineers are said to have been working on red Jet 7 over the weekend.
