POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a Southampton house was burgled while the homeowners were inside.

Officers investigating the incident have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident on October 18.

At around 4.45pm, a man is believed to have walked down the side of an address in Burgess Road, Southampton and entered the property from an unsecured back door while the homeowners were inside.

A bank card in the bag was then used at a nearby Sainsbury’s Local in Hill Lane to withdraw £100.

He has been described as white, of medium build and aged in his 20s.

He was wearing a light blue and white Adidas hooded jacket with blue stripes down the side, dark trousers and dark Adidas trainers.
