Police received reports of teens letting off fireworks in Victoria Road, Souhampton
GROUPS of youths have been spotted setting off fireworks in a busy Southampton street.
Teenagers were spotted lighting fireworks in Victoria Road, Southampton.
Police received multiple reports from concerned residents at around 8pm on Friday.
Officers are now urging people to alert police to anti-social behaviour and crime in the area.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary, said: "I can confirm that we received reports at around 8pm (on Friday) of youths lighting fireworks in Victoria Road.
"We encourage people to continue to report any ongoing issues of anti-social behaviour in the area to us so we can establish the scale of the problem."
