TWO yellow weather warnings has been put in place for Southampton, with the Met Office announcing this morning that heavy rain will hit the city from tonight.
From 9pm this evening until 9am heavy rain is expected to hit, with another warning in place for more heavy rainfall from midnight on Sunday to 3pm on the same day.
The Met Office says tonight "heavy rain leading to some flooding and disruption in places", with Sunday's warning noting there will be a "short period of heavy rainfall" which may "bring some localised flooding and transport disruption".
Tonight's rainfall covers most of the South West, all of Wales, and the west of Hampshire - including Southampton.
Sunday's warning covers the entire south coast, as well as London, southern Wales, and part of Essex.

What to expect? According to the Met Office
The Met Office has put out some warnings with what may occur due to the heavy rainfall.
Friday/Saturday:
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
Sunday:
- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
