A PROPOSAL to enlarge a house in the New Forest National Park has been withdrawn by the applicant.
The Lymington-based National Park Authority (NPA) is no longer studying an application relating to Rooks Farm in Pound Lane, Burley.
Sought had been consent for a two-storey extension and a single-addition.
A design and access statement that formed part of the application said the main extension would house an extra bedroom.
It added: "The existing main bedroom fronts directly on to the lane. During lockdown the level of traffic dropped sharply but noise and air pollution has been increasing to an undesirable level."
The statement said the extension would also house a "more generous" kitchen and dining area on the ground floor.
