SOUTHAMPTON’S second-ever dedicated film festival got underway at the Turner Sims with a drinks reception and the screening of British drama Yasmin.
Southampton Film Week began on October 3, 2009 and included drive-in movies, workshops, screenings, discussions, quizzes and shorts from Hampshire filmmakers at various venues across the city.
Cars rolled into the drive-in cinema on the Westquay site for films which included Slumdog Millionaire, Grease and Mamma Mia!
