A FALLEN tree had blocked a major route through Hampshire.
National Highways reported just before 12pm that a fallen tree had blocked the A36 in both directions at West Wellow between Whiteparish and Ower.

Contactors worked to remove the tree and motorists were asked to find alternative routes.
The tree has now been cleared in both directions between Lower Common Road and Black Hill Road.
