Gritters to be out in force across Hampshire TONIGHT as temperatures plummet
GRITTERS will be out in force across the county tonight as temperatures plumment.
Lows of -1 degree are expected in Southampton between 11pm and 4am.
Hampshire Highways has confirmed that its fleet will be out and about to ensure the roads are safe.
They will be on the north and central Hampshire roads from 7pm.
No action is currently planned for the south of the county but experts are monitoring the forecast.

Our gritters are heading out this evening as road surface temperatures drop below freezing 🌡️ they'll be heading out as follows:
North - 1900hrs
Central - 1900hrs
