WORKS will be taking place across Southampton's roads next week.

Below is a list of all the roadworks to be aware of:

Brownhill Way / Frogmore Lane / Lower Brownhill

A Major Highway Improvements Scheme is taking place having started in October and is set to end as of March 2022.

Phase 1 is running until the end of November and includes lane closures on Brownhill Way.

Full closure of Lower Brownhill Road will also take place including no access to Lower Brownhill from Colne Avenue.

Two-way traffic will be maintained on Brownhill Way at all times.

Grosvenor Square

A full closure from Cumberland Place to Park Lane will be in place from October 11 for 8 weeks.

Occasionally lane closures will be put in on Cumberland Place.

Shirley Road

A Highway Improvements Scheme is taking place between junctions Cawte to Malmesbury.

Having started on October 4, the scheme is due to end as of November 20 and includes small closures of Cawte, Dyer and Malmesbury and lane closures and signals on Shirley Road.

Millbrook Road West

Resurfacing is taking place between November 8 and 24 November from 9pm until 6am.

The road will be closed between West Quay Road to Regents Park Road Outbound.

Burgess Road

Resurfacing works are happening between November 8 and 11 from 8pm until 6am.

A closure and temporary signals will be put in between University Road and Bealing Close.

Portswood Road

The road will be closed between Harrison Road and Mayfield Road in the daytime on November 14.

This is due to the dismantling of a crane.

Mansbridge Road

Two-way signals will be in place at Speedwell Court on November 8 and 9 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

Bursledon Road junction North East Road will also see signals from November 8 to 10.

High Street

A one-way closure will be put in southbound on November 9 between 8pm and 6am between Town Quay and Briton Street due to manhole cover repairs.

SCC Events Remembrance Day

Various closures will be in place on November 14 between 7am and 2pm on Above Bar Street, West Marlands, Commercial Road.
