ROADWORKS are taking place across Southampton next week.

Below is a list of all the works to be aware of throughout the week:

Brownhill Way/Frogmore Lane/Lower Brownhill

A major Highway Improvements Scheme is currently taking place having started on October 14.

This is set to to end as of March 2022 with Phase 1 ongoing until the end of November, including lane closures on Brownhill Way.

A full closure of Lower Brownhill Road is in place including no access to Lower Brownhill from Colne Avenue.

Two-way traffic is being maintained on Brownhill Way at all times.

Grosvenor Square

A major Highways Improvements Scheme is currently ongoing having started on October 11.

This will last eight weeks with a full closure in place from Cumberland Place to Park Lane as well as occasional lane closures on Cumberland Place itself.

Shirley Road

A major Highways Improvement Scheme is currently taking place between junctions for Cawte Road to Malmesbury Road.

Having started on October 4, the work is due to end on November 20 and includes small closures of Cawte Road, Dyer Road and Malmesbury Road with lane closures and temporary traffic lights on Shirley Road.

Millbrook Road West

Overnight Resurfacing is ongoing having started on November 8 and will last until November 24.

Work is taking place between 9pm and 6am with the road closed between West Quay Road to Regents Park Road outbound while underway.

Hill Lane

Two-way traffic lights will be placed 90m from Burgess Road junction on November 18 from 8pm until 6am.

This is due to works by Southern Water to repair a water cover.

Weston Grove Road

Two-way traffic lights will be in place for telecoms works from November 15 to November 17 in off-peak hours only.

These will be based near to the Glen Road junction.
