For more than 30 years a Southampton-based charity has been rescuing animals and finding them forever homes – could you be the next person to adopt a pet from them?

Second Chance Animal Rescue in Mansbridge Road are a small rescue dealing with dogs, cats, small animals, and wildlife.

The dedicated team of volunteers provide a wide variety of services to animals in need, from hand-raising orphaned animals, and, in the case of wildlife, releasing them back into the wild, to vaccinating and microchipping animals for rehoming, along with treating any illness or injuries.

If you have decided you would like to offer a pet a forever home, here are some of the furry, and feathered, friends looking for a place to call home this week.
