ARTISAN producers, designers, creators and makers will be placed centre stage at a brand-new outdoor Christmas Fair launching at Beaulieu, from Friday, December 10 to S unday, December 12.

The Artisan Collective Christmas Fair, a three-day outdoor festive shopping extravaganza, will showcase over 70 hand-picked artisan gift, food and drink producers and brands.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Palace House, the brand new Fair will be full of unique makers, designers and producers so you can eat, drink, shop and be merry. Plus, Father Christmas will be making an appearance each day handing out gifts for the children from one of the National Motor Museum’s classic cars.

Rachel Poletti-Gadd, director of the Artisan Collective Festive Fair, said: “The fair will be a celebration of all things Christmas - terrific festive food and drink, merry music, the kind of unique gift shopping you just don’t get on the high street and the beautiful and historic Beaulieu to explore with friends and family.  “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Beaulieu again, following our successful gardening fair in the Spring and we very much look forward to welcoming guests to what we’re certain will be a wonderful festive day out.”

Visitors can discover, taste and shop their way around over 70 hand-picked artisan producers and brands, with everything from scented wax melts and candles, delicious home-made shortbread and chocolates, beautiful silver jewellery and hand-crafted original pottery.

The fair will boast a selection of some of the country’s best food and drink producers including the New Forest Tea Co, Wicked Fudge and Churros Garcia, as well as exciting street food vendors and many more.

No one will go hungry with a host of festive flavours and goodies to try, from mouth-watering heritage breed hotdogs, tasty wraps and vegan treats to decadent fudge and award-winning organic cheese.

For those who fancy a festive tipple with their food, HMS Spirits will be bringing their Mary Rose gin to the Fair, serving up their classic G&Ts, warming gin cocktails, hot mulled gin and the Christmas staple, mulled wine.

The local Beaulieu Warblers will sing their hearts out with an array of Christmas carols. Plus, glamorous duo, The Santa Babies and Jersey Guy, Adam Christopher Rhys will bring a blast of feel-good seasonal fun to the bandstand.

Beaulieu, festooned with lights and sparkle, will be open to Christmas Fair ticket holders. Experience the beauty of a traditionally decorated country home as Palace House tingles with Christmas magic, as festive preparations transport you back in time to 1889. Warm yourself in front of a burning log fire, admire a Christmas tree in every room, with a towering 20ft-tall tree as the impressive centrepiece in the main hall.

See Little Beaulieu as you've never seen it before. Explore the wonderful adventure play area, spruced up with seasonal decorations and accessible in all weathers. While kids wear themselves out, parents can enjoy a glass of hot chocolate or even a mince pie in the family-friendly seating area.
