A SOUTHAMPTON stalker who made his victim's life a misery has avoided jail.
Habemiah Jeremiah Herman made a huge number of unwanted calls to his victim between September 2019 and July 2020.
The 36-year-old of Romsey Road went to the woman's home and shouted at her in the street.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates' Court, he was charged with harassment to which he pleaded guilty.
He was jailed for four months, however, the sentence was suspended for 18 months.
Herman has been given a five-year restraining order and must pay £620 court costs and a £128 surcharge.
