PLANS for a new annex to a house in the New Forest have been withdrawn by the applicant - despite sparking several letters of support.
The Lymington-based New Forest National Park Authority (NPA) is no longer studying an application relating to Coxhill House at Coxhill, Boldre.
Consent had been consent to replace an existing annex with a purpose-built one for the owners and their son.
The application said: "The proposed design and the position of the annex within the plot is the product of much thought and consideration by the owners, with particular regard to the disabled access requirement.
"The external walls, external joinery and roof cladding will mimic and compliment those of the main house."
