A MAN who swore and yelled abuse at police must pay just a £50 bill.
Aidan Stevens became aggressive and shouted at two police officers near Southampton Central Station in Blechynden Terrace.
The 22-year-old had been drinking and shopping in Portsmouth earlier in the day.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates' Court, he was charged with a single count of being drunk and disorderly in a public place to which he pleaded guilty to the offence which happened on October 29.
Stevens, of no fixed address, and who has no previous convictions was given a six-month conditional discharge.
He must also pay £28 in court costs and a £22 victim surcharge.
