Police are ramping up patrols in Southampton city centre amid the festive season.
Hampshire police are increasing patrols over the Christmas period as Southampton sees shoppers flooding the city centre.
The dedicated patrols have been codenamed Operation Turkey.
Above Bar Street has recently welcomed the return of the Christmas Market.
Following a two year absence due to the Covid pandemic, people can once again enjoy beautiful gifts, festive treats and live entertainment.
