POLICE were called to two-day accident at Fawley Road, Hythe.

Officers say no-one was seriously hurt in the crash, which occurred near a convenience store on the Netley View estate, which is on the southern end of the village.

But they are warning drivers to take extra care as winter approaches.

Posting on social media Waterside Cops said: "We'd like to thank drivers on Fawley Road for their patience this afternoon whilst our officers dealt with a road traffic collision just near to the One-Stop on Netley View.

"Fortunately no-one was seriously hurt, but with the cold nights drawing in, it's a good time to remind everyone to be extra vigilant on the roads.

"Officers have also been out dealing with a number of local issues, removing a vehicle causing an obstruction on Foxcroft Drive in Holbury, making arrest enquiries regarding persons wanted on warrant and interviewing a suspect for nine separate offences.

"As always if you'd like to get in touch about local issues you can contact us on 101, make a report on our website or report in confidence via Crimestoppers."
