RED Funnel has announced delays on ferries today due to poor visibility on the water.
Announced by Red Funnel Travel News on Twitter, a number of services are facing long delays due to reduced visibility.
Just before 12pm today they reported that the vehicle ferry for all booked vehicle traffic is delayed by around 90 minutes.
Vehicle Ferry 10:30 and 13:30 from Southampton and 12:00 and 15:00 from Cowes currently delayed by 90mins due to reduced visibility. We apologise for any inconvenience to your journey.

The vehicle ferries at 10.30am and 1.30pm from Southampton and 12pm and 3pm from Cowes are currently delayed by 90 minutes.

Vehicle ferries at 12pm and 3pm from Southampton and 10.30am and 1.30pm from Cowes delayed by 30 minutes.
It is understood that delays are building on the roads surrounding the ferry terminal in Southampton.
Hampshire County Council's live traffic system ROMANSE shows traffic delays on Town Quay and High Street close to the ferry port.
