A SOUTHAMPTON man has been landed with a court bill of almost £500 for riding a scooter without due care and attention.
Scotty Mackay was charged with driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road without due care and attention.
The 24-year-old of Rudd Way, Southampton, had been riding a Lexmoto Titan on Elm Road in Bexley.
Appearing before Bromley Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to the offence which happened on October 1 last year.
His driving record was stamped with six points and he was fined £330.
Mackay must also pay £110 in costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
