GLASS collections have been cancelled for hundreds of households in Southampton again this week.
Yesterday, Southampton City Council said on Twitter that it had cancelled glass collections in the Merryoak and Bitterne Manor areas of the city.
A map shared by the council showed all the households which have been missed.
Now residents in these areas are being asked to bring their glass box back in and leave it in a visable spot if possible in case it can be collected later.
Glass banks and pods are still being emptied as normal.
A city council spokesperson said: "We're prioritising household waste & recycling and were able to run catch-up crews at the weekend to clear these.
"We’re doing all we can to restore city wide glass collections to normal and continue with our ongoing recruitment campaign for drivers.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your ongoing patience."
