WORK is set to begin on resurfacing and repainting two Southampton roads.
This month, work will take place on Hill Lane and Lordswood Road in order to resurface the carriageway and refresh existing road maskings.
Below is everything you need to know ahead of the work.

When will this take place?
Work is due to begin on December 8 and is expected to last for three days according to Southampton City Council.
From December 8 until December 10, resurfacing works will be taking place on Hill Lane whilst road marking works will start and finish on December 9.
Resurfacing will take place between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm whilst road markings work will happen between 8pm and 6am.
What traffic measures will be put in?
During the resurfacing of Hill Lane, a road closure will be implemented to allow this to be carried out safely.
Warning signs will advice motorists of any changes and a signed diversion route will also be in place throughout.
A road closure will also be put in place on Lordswood Road during road marking works.
