UPDATE: The bridge has now reopened but emergency services remain on the scene.
A SOUTHAMPTON bridge has been closed to traffic heading into the city due to a crash.
Southampton City Council says Northam Bridge has been closed to inbound traffic this evening.
This is due to a crash in the outside lane.
Motorists are being warned to approach with caution.
