A SOUTHAMPTON man has been forced to pay more than £2,000 for breaching lockdown rules.
Thomas Knowler, of Southampton Street, was found in Eastleigh on January 31 this year - while the nation was in lockdown.
Magistrates in Basingstoke heard that he broke the stay-at-home rules "without reasonable excuse".
He was fined £1,760.
Knowler was also forced to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £176, and and additional £85 in costs.
