THE Pocket Pantomime is back with a trademark, pocket-sized rendition of Dick Whittington at the Hanger Farm Arts Centre in Totton from this weekend.

With his trusty cat for an aid, Dick Whittington is off to London to seek fame and fortune but the evil King Rat has got other plans.

Will good eventually win out over evil? Who knows. But one thing's for sure, that the motley crew of colourful characters including Sarah the Cook, Idle Jack, Fairy Bowbells, and Tommy the Cat will provide plenty of fun for all the family.

Director David Tatnall says: "Having gone last year without panto, we can't wait to get back on stage in front of an audience. It's all the usual rubbish you expect from a Pocket Pantomime but with even more thigh-slapping silliness, sing-a-longs, and slop."

Dick Whittington runs from Sunday December 12 to Sunday December 19 with day time performances at the weekends (10am, 1pm, 4pm) as well as evening performances at 7pm.

Tickets are priced £10 and £5 for concessions.
