Woodmill Bridge in Southampton is closed. Traffic building
THE closure of a usually busy Southampton bridge is causing long traffic delays.
Work is underway on the Woodmill Outdoor Activities Centre, and the bridge will be closed until December 16.
This has pushed drivers onto Cobden Bridge, where there is a "very long queue" heading into the city, according to the county council's live traffic map.
Traffic is also building on Manor Farm Road and Saint Catherines Road in both directions, and Bullar Road northbound.
Scaffolding is being removed from the Woodmill Outdoor Activities Centre building, which remains open with access from the North via Thomas Lewis Way.
