A NEW Forest theatre company is bringing its own version of a well-loved fairytale to the stage this festive season.

Forest Forge Theatre is back with a bang and is performing a family and Christmas orientated production of Jack and the Beanstalk in partnership with Bumblefly Theatre and Mischievous Theatre.

Creative producer and CEO, Sharon Lawless said: "I am excited we can bring a fun family show back to audiences this year and am enjoying seeing the show come together in our rehearsal studio with Dom Phillips and Clive Holland, both veteran Christmas show performers.

"With Lucy Phillips directing the show there’s a real buzz at the theatre right now, and there will certainly be lots of surprises and fun, just what we all need right now."

Audience members can follow the adventures of Jack as he sells his beloved cow Daisy for a handful of beans, which sees a giant beanstalk grow in the garden, leading up into the clouds.

This show can be enjoyed at Sandleheath Village Hall in Fordingbridge on Saturday, December 18 and at the Forest Forge Theatre, Ringwood on December 22 and 23.

Tickets cost £10 or £6 for concessions and can be booked here www.forestforgetheatre.co.uk
