THE M27 west from junction five to junction seven has reopened after a car overturned on the motorway.
Earlier today, traffic was at a standstill and all traffic was temporarily held due to the accident.
The westbound carriageway was closed during this time.
A one lane closure is currently in place to facilitate recovery.

Affected areas included the A334 Charles Watts Way in Hedge End and the A335 Stoneham Way, near Southampton Airport.
Emergency services are on the scene and drivers are being diverted via the A27 and Wide Lane.
