A TOWN pub has been handed a score of five for food hygiene after a recent inspection.
The Cocky Anchor in Romsey received the five-out-of-five rating on December 13.
The pub, which is located at 8 Market Place, was given the score by the Food Standards Agency.
This now means that of Test Valley's 111 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 86 or 77% of those have ratings of five.
None of them have zero ratings.
This comes as The Peat Spade in Stockbridge was also handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 15.
