MYSTERY surrounds the location of Hampshire residents, some of whom have been missing for decades.

National charity, Missing People, 'works around the clock' to ease the heartache experienced by those missing a loved one.

It helps people who are away from home, find their way back to safety.

Listed on its database are individuals from Southampton and the wider Hampshire area.

They include:

Joanne Sheen

Jo Sheen has been missing for around two years.

She was 44-years-old when she was last spotted catching a train from Fareham to Southampton in December 2019.

Her family and the police are desperate for information that could help find her.

Officers searched the banks of the River Itchen during investigations last August.

In November 2021, police launched a fresh appeal to help locate her

She remains missing.

Sangrok Song

Sangrok Song, from Southampton, was reported missing on April 17 last year.

He was 29-years-old at the time of his disappearance.

A statement from Missing People, states: "Sangrok we are here for you whenever you are ready; we can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe.

Damien Nettles

Damien has been missing for more than two decades.

Aged 16 at the time of his disappearance from Cowes on the Isle of Wight, the case surrounding his whereabouts remains open.

The last confirmed sighting of Damien was in CCTV footage at the former Yorkie's fish and chip shop off Cowes High Street.

Operation Ringwood was launched to find him - it involved 1,134 people including investigators, witnesses and people of interest.

In 2012 police even offered a £20,000 reward for information that would help find him.

Paul Balmouth

Paul Balmforth has not been seen since he left the Grosvenor Casino in the city’s Leisure World complex after a night out.

He reportedly told a doorman he planned to jog the eight miles home to Dibden Purlieu.

The aspiring novelist was 27-years-old when he disappeared on February 8, 2000.

Lindon Lushi

Lindon was just 17-years-old when he vanished from Southampton.

He was reported missing on November 12 in 2016.

Doran was last seen more than two years ago.

From Portsmouth, the 17-year-old was reported missing on September 12, 2019.
