A SOUTHAMPTON home could be turned into a house of multiple occupations should plans be approved by civic chiefs.
Plans have been submitted to Southampton City Council to turn a five-bed home Burgess Road into a HMO.
The plans have been submitted by Mr A Bingham of Pure Town Planning based in Bournemouth.
The plans state the application for a lawful development certificate for existing use as a five bed house in multiple occupation.
A HMO is a home lived in by more than three tennants in which they share a bathroom and kitchen.
They are usually lived in by young professionals.
Plans are yet to be approved by Southampton City Council.
