MOTORISTS in Hampshire will have five road closures to avoid this week. 

The latest expected works list from National Highways shows that five closures are planned to continue this week. 

These are said to be already in place and are due to cause slight delays of under 10 minutes. 

All of the closures are due to smart motorway works. 

Below is a list of all the closures to look out for: 

  • M27 westbound at junction 8 - Slip road closures are due to continue until 6am on Friday having started on November 17.

• M3 southbound at junction 13 - Link road closures will be in place from J13 to Chilworth Roundabout until 6am on January 19. The work began on October 17.

• M3 southbound and M27 eastbound - Slip road closures will take place as a result of work on the M3. These will run until 6am on January 22 having bagan on April 21.

• M27 eastbound at junction 5 - Closures will continue on the slip road until 6am on February 6. These started on October 11 and are due to smart motorway works on the M27.

• M27 westbound from junction 5 to Junction 4 - Parts of the carriageway will be closed until 6am on February 7. This work began on October 17.
