A MAN has been injured after he was attacked and robbed with a 'machete' outside a Southampton apartment block.
At sometime between 7pm and 7.45pm on Tuesday the man in his 30s was approached by a group of three or four men from behind.
The men then attacked him, threatening him with a weapon, later described as a machete.
They then made off on the man's electric bike.
The incident took place as the man was stood outside a block of flats in Cuckmere Lane, Southampton.
Police searched the area but weren't able to find the men.
The victim was left with a cut to his hand.
Now an investigation has been launched and officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers investigating the incident are following a number of lines of enquiry and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time.
"Did you see or hear anything suspicious? Do you live in the area and have any private CCTV? Perhaps you were driving in the area and have dash-cam footage?
