A KEY Southampton road has reopened following a crash this morning.
Emergency services raced to Lords Hill Way after two cars crashed near the junction of Pembrey Close.
The westbound carriageway was closed off due to the incident that happened shortly before 7am.
According to police, minor injuries were reported, however, the route has since reopened.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 6.50am today to reports of a collision involving two cars on Lords Hill Way, Southampton, near the junction with Pembrey Close.
"Minor injuries were reported to us. The road was closed while we responded to the incident but has since been reopened and we have left the scene."
