MOTORISTS were hit by 30-minute delays after a multi-vehicle accident blocked two lanes of a Hampshire motorway.
The northbound lane of the M3 was blocked between junctions 13 and 14 following the four-vehicle smash.
The incident also affected the M27, with queues stretching back as far as Rownhams services.
The travel service ROMANSE reported delays of 30 minutes, having previously warned drivers about one-hour hold-ups.
All lanes are now reported to have reopened.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.43am to reports of a four-vehicle collision on the northbound M3 between junctions 13 and 14.
"The vehicles involved were a Ford Fiesta, a Hyundai Ioniq, a Nissan Qashqai and a VW Passat.
"No injuries were reported."
