TWO Southampton men have been arrested after an incident that saw an assault and 'racially or religiously aggravated harassment'.
Police were called to KFC in Above Bar Street yesterday (January 11) following reports of a disturbance there.
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted assault occasioning actual bodily harm and racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Another man, 47, was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and racially or religiously aggravated harassment, alarm or distress and was released under investigation while enquiries continue.
