A TEENAGER caught carrying class A drugs in Southampton has been referred to a youth offender panel.
The 16-year-old boy from Essex, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was caught carrying 1.6g of crack cocaine and 0.4g of diamorphine in the city on September 28 last year.
Appearing at Southampton Youth Court, he pleaded guilty to two counts of the possession of a class A drug.
The teenager was referred to a youth offender panel for a contract having effect for nine months.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and the drugs were seized and destroyed.
